GREYHOUND
A dear friend sent this book to me and am I glad that she did. This is one too good to miss. Thank you, Judy darling!
We meet soon to be 12 year-old Sebastien Ranes living in Stockton, California with his mom. Mom is the type who has children but doesn't care about and/or take care of her them. Her daughter, Beanie, lives in Pennsylvania with her grandparents. Guess what? Sebastien is the next to be shipped off to Pennsylvania! His mom and her current loser boyfriend take Sebastien to the Greyhound bus station, slap $35 in his hand and send him off, alone, for the three day journey to Grandma's house.

Retired Racing Greyhounds for Dummies
by: Lee Livingood
It may be for dummies, but they never treat you like an idiot. It is full of great information about the breed, the needs of the dog, the health issues, the reality of being an ex racer, it is very comprehensive. It has great notes and ideas. This is a really great book that any greyhound owner could keep on their book shelf and go back to for years to come. But it is really suited for the person that thinks they want one, but isn't sure.
You're reading this review because you're thinking of getting a greyhound? Buy the book!
